A message for
Hopes Helpers
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helpedby donating or packing supplies for Chile! See themessage below from Johnna and do not forget to
check out Johnnasfacebookpage!Blessings! - Judy
Hi Judy!
On my profile I just created a photo album entitled Colegio
Gorge Williams. This is the elementary school [pre k - 8th
grade] that we donated the school supplies to. There are about
200 children at this school and all of them have some sort of
family problem or are challenged themselves in some way.
This school is completely sponsored by the YMCA, which is
the organization I am doing my service-learning internship
with here in Valparaiso, Chile. The principal was going to
decide who got the supplies but had a class of kids come take
the pictures with us. We packed all of the supplies in oursuitcases, but one of our advisors was gracious enough to use
a box which you see on the table in front of us in the first
picture as her second piece of luggage. Thank you for
everything you did for us and I hope you can pass these thanks
along to the members of Hope! Johnna
