Summer Greetings Everyone!
You are all aware that our busy senior center offers many
programs, some of which are considered “Outreach Programs.”
These particular programs reach out to the community to offer
services needed by the people. What isn’t as commonly known
is the “Reaching Out” that is a regular occurrence among our
midst . I see and hear about how kind and compassionate you all
are about each other and it is always so touching. To some it
comes naturally to reach out to another offering concern and
support. To others, understandably, it can be difficult. What if
the receiver does not want support? In my experience, if you feel
a need to reach out to someone it is best to try. “Nothing
ventured, nothing gained” is always a good motto to go by. We
never know how big of a difference we can make in others lives
and there is certainly no harm done by trying. And when it does
makes a big difference - what a wonderful gift you have shared!

It hardly seems like the summer has started and half of it is over already. 2019 is flying by much too quickly. It has been an extremely busy year for all of us and will continue going in to fall.
For all the members , we can not express how grateful we are for you, for all the volunteers who spend countless hours here, our gratitude is huge, everyone goes above and beyond. We could not have a Senior Center like ours if it was not for all of you.
We love to see and visit with everyone, please continue to grace us with your presence.
Be Happy! Lynda
