DIAGNOSTIC TESTS
• Before registering for any language class in our center, a diagnostic exam is required for
the following cases:
1. Students who have studied Spanish in the past, and have never studied at Instituto
Cervantes.
2. Returning students of ICND (after 3 months for A1 to B1 levels and 6 months for B2 to
C2 levels).
3. Students with no formal Spanish language training (but can speak the language).
4. Students with prior knowledge of Spanish wanting to enrol for an online course (AVE)
• Diagnostic exams cost INR 1,500. This amount is to be paid at least two days in advance
and is deducted from the course fee upon enrolment. Students who absent themselves
for the appointment will not be refunded the fee. The time period for the deduction of
this amount, as well as the academic validity of the test is different.
• The administrative validity of three months implies the deduction of the diagnostic test
fee of Rs
1,000 (from the total course fee), counted from the day, the payment is made.
• The academic validity involves the duration of the level obtained after the taking the
diagnostic test. It is 3 months for levels A1, A2 and B1 and 6 months for levels B2, C1 and
C2.
• The results of the diagnostic exam are final. But they are by no means a certification of
the level and are for our internal use only. Validity of the results is 3 months for A1 to B1
levels and 6 months for B2 to C2 levels.

II am Shilpa Rawal. I enrolled for this course A1.1 on9th March 2020. I was really excited about it but due tolock down our classes were postponed. Later we got theinformation that we had to do this course online I wasreally disappointed but when the course started it wastotally a new experience for me. Apart from learning thelanguage I also learnt to be friendly with this newtechnological advances. This is also time saving and didnot lack introduction to the fellow students and specialparticipation of Cervantes staff to make us familiar tothe institute comprehensively & learn the language in avocational prospective
I just enrolled for my spanish course, and was superexcited, but the lock down happened! In all the gloomspreading around, the light came when I got a messageabout having online spanish classes. Honestly, I had noidea that these classes will be full of learning and fun. Itwas just like traveling to Spain and Latin Americavirtually and now I have become so much familiar withthe language and culture.
