Churston Fatstock Show - 16th November 2015
At Churston New Buildings, Copythorne Road, Brixham
Churston Fatstock Show reports on excellent entries of cattle and sheep at their
Annual Fatstock Show with 20 cattle forward and 30 pens of sheep.
JUDGES:
CATTLE: Mr P. Harvey of Loddiswell
SHEEP: Mr J. Stephens of Crediton
This year’s Overall Champion Bullock went to Mr D Goss of Littlehempston
with his 28 month old South Devon steer ‘Simon’ with Mr D Goss also taking
the Reserve Championship with his 24 month old South Devon heifer ‘Ruby’.

In the unhaltered classes Mr D Goss also came away with the Champion with
their 19 month old pure Limousin steer ‘Roy’ with RJ & J Tully from Waddeton
winning Reserve unhaltered Champion for their 19 month Aberdeen Angus
heifer.
This year’s overall Sheep Champion went to Mr R Bond of Blackawton with his
Beltex sheep with the Reserve Championship being awarded to D & G Tucker
of Diptford. Local Champion and Local Reserve Champion were both awarded
to Mr P Dallyn for his entries of Dutch and Blue Texels.
