Medical Claims
• Participants medical claims are subject to the discretion of the hosting
company.
• Any medical leave taken during the period of training must be supported by a
medical leave certificate from a registered medical practitioner. Failure to do so
will result in a deduction of the monthly allowance.
• Participants are entitled to a total of 3 days medical leave throughout the
program, on a case-to-case basis.
• Medical leave will be governed by the respective host company’s rules and
regulations to which you are assigned.

JPA-MAP Guidelines
• Participants can only entitle for emergency leave during the
apprenticeship period (evidence needed).
• Emergency leave taken must be approved and communicated to
immediate supervisor.
• This must be highlighted to the TalentCorp Secretariat for
monitoring purposes. Failure to do this will result in a deduction
of monthly allowance.
