A blizzard is a snow storm that covers the earth in a blanket of snow.

How does a blizzard form?

Polar air is very cold. When it blows over land during the winter it’s common for a blizzard to get stirred up.

How does it affect transportation? [Movement]

A car or a road will be covered in snow so that it makes it hard to drive through. Planes also get delayed during blizzards.

What affect does it have on people and how they interact with theenvironment? [Human/Environment Interaction]

The snow could freeze plants and they could die or get frost bite. Blizzards can affect live stock and cause losses too.
