Procurement needs
At EPC contractor level, procurements are typically divided into “packages” for optimised procurement. Enclosed listing shows packages to be procures. Potential suppliers may utilise this list when qualifying or bidding to match their offerings to the customers needs.

Procurement needs
www.finity.no Presentation: Aker Solutions
• Aibel – only (7) minor packages to be procured by Aibel, rest is transported from Statoil procurement. Nymo will mainly install NOV drilling support equipment, but NOV (Asker, Kristiansand) will procure tanks, pumps etc.
• Kvaerner – most subcontracts already awarded
• ABB – mostly ABB equipment
• Kongsberg – pending EPC CA
Procurement needs
Statoil has specifically requested/ encouraged their main contractors to announce their procurement packages on

Status Johan Sverdrup Phase 2
Phase 2 is currently being studied by Aker Solutions and others.
Concept selection (DG2) is scheduled for ultimo 2015.
FEED to be done in 2016, and PDO to be delivered 2017.
DG4 (delivery) to be in 2022.
Phase 2 will include:
• production from part areas
• further development of the field centre
For suppliers, it should be noted that the intention is to use options from Phase 1 to a large extent.
Summary and Recommendations
www.finity.no
The Johan Sverdrup project offers large opportunities for companies who can qualify or have qualified as suppliers.
To ensure standardisation along the field complex, many system and component contract packages are announced by Statoil (Aker) and later transported to the main contractors. These are generally announced on www.findcontracts.no
Bulk materials and certain (engineering) services are still procured directly by the EPC contractors and according to their normal procurement channels.
Many contracts are still open – but no time to waste
Summary and Recommendations
www.finity.no
When all main contracts are set, it will be the needs of the main contractors (second tier companies) that determine which sub-suppliers that have an opportunity to deliver to the Johan Sverdrup project.
It is adviced to monitor the status continuously for possibilities.
