STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT

What will you giveback to God this week From the blessings you

have received??

GOSPEL REFLECTIONSFrom our Pastor, Fr. Vince

“What must be said first of all is that the ten lepers in today’s Gospel were all

remarkable people. They came to Jesus for healing, exhibiting two of the spiritual gifts: faith and hope. And when Jesus told

them to go and show themselves to the priest, they

revealed a third gift, obedience, hastening off to do what had been commanded.”

NEW ROAD, NEW RULESTHERE IS NO PARKING

ALLOWEDON THE PARISH DRIVEWAY. Parish Way is now declared aFIRE LANE and posted signs say NO STOPPING. Please

avoid a ticket or towing by not parking on Parish Way.

St. Francis on Giving:

“Everything people leave after them in this world is

lost, but for their charity and almsgiving

they will receive a reward from God.”

GOSPEL REFLECTIONSFrom our Pastor, Fr. Vince“But one of the ten (lepers

healed in today’s gospel) was even more exemplary than the rest: the one who returned to

give thanks. It was to that one alone that Jesus imparted

something better than a healing: the assurance of

salvation.”

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT

Like the lepers cured in today’s gospel, good stewards of their faith realize that they cannot wait until their problems are over to start

walking in faith. They praise God even in the darkest of nights, and in the worst of circumstances. Do we walk in faith, giving the Lord our gratitude even when we are in

difficult circumstances? •

“God in His mercy has called us

unto the salvation

not only of our souls

but of many.”
