design advocacyAfter listening to communities, Dotte Agency and KU architecture students translated their ideas into fitness stations through design & prototyping:

design advocacyFive new Jersey Creek Fitness Stations will be installed along the Jersey Creek Trail this spring.

design advocacyThrough the Mobile Collaboratory (moCOLAB) and in storefront space a block from City Hall (611 N. 6th Street), Dotte Agency has capacity to collaborate on envisioning park improvements.

design advocacyIn July 29, 2015, the Jersey Creek Trail Team invited community organizations, partners, and civic leaders to share their thoughts and concerns about the Jersey Creek Trail.

design advocacyWhat we’ve heard:

“We have rich diversity in culture and language, utilize the input from these groups.”

“[An opportunity for] a bike trail accessible to senior citizens in the neighborhood.”

“Get creative about adding trails around businesses.”

“More seating and a sign with a name.”

“[Needs better] lighting, security, & maintenance.”

“[Needs] functioning water fountains.”

“There’s no connection between the neighborhoods and the bike trail.”

“[Include] historical walking trail markers and signage.”
