JDEWS is the non governmental organization working to provide quality education to the underprivileged children of and vocational training to the poor Women of . JDEWS was established in 2003 to provide education to the children and women in the slums since then, the organization has grown both in scope and geographical coverage.

Today we reach out to the children and women living both in rural and urban areas through a range of interventions. The JDEWS has team comprises of educationists, development professionals, media persons, corporate, workers, MBAs, corporate professionals, consultants, who all bring their experiences and perspectives to the organization and are unified by the common vision of improving the future of our children and women of .

Now JDEWS also begins to educate people on Environment by promoting Jute Products. We are not only into manufacturing Jute products but also give opportunity to the poor women to be skilled and independent through this education.
