Part 1: How to Help your Student Prepare:
O Use the “teach back” method while you are creating the project and/or presentation poster.
O For example:O Ask the student how they would
explain the concepts related to their projects in their own words
O Have your student practice answering questions
Project PresentationO If your project is an object (such as a
piece of artwork) or will be shown on the computer, we recommend that you create a poster board as well to:O Draw people to your boothO Help explain the process to create the
final product of the student’s projectO Have visuals for visitors to ask
questions about (which is very helpful for shy students)

Booth PresentationO Bring decorations: whether it is
