Changes• U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of

Columbia Circuit today struck down the 2011 FCC Net Neutrality Regulations

• Verizon opposed the regulations saying, “that but for these rules we would be exploring those types of arrangements”…different service pricing models

How to monetize WebRTC

Contact center services. New support/service agents (ala Mayday).

Home control via speech recognition. Control data channel to entertainment, security and appliances (ala Nest).

Distance learning/telemedicine. Lowers barrier to ad hoc collaboration and classroom evaluations.

Hosted PBX/UC services become easier and more secure. No licensing or development needed for softphone applications.

Application design consultants! Equipment vendors need to produce: Encryption/decryption

systems for offnet calling, massive video conferencing systems, control systems for M2M interfaces (or direct WebRTC to user).
