An invertebrate is An invertebrate is an an animal without animal without a a backbone.backbone.

Some of them live in the sea such as;

Cnidarians, Echinoderms . Some of them live in the land such as

mollusc and worms.

Groups of Cnidarians. They are animals.

Coral organisms, called polyps.

Tiny, soft-bodied

Corals live in tropical water.

They have a mouth and a simple digestive system at the centre of their tentacles.

The polyps live together, anchored to each other, sharing living tissue and food resources.

Invertebrates are more than vertebrates. Because invertebrates are smaller and do not take up as much space.
