The Northern Territory News is seeking an

experienced news reporter.

Darwin is a vibrant, tropical city with a relaxed

outdoors lifestyle and the NT News is an iconic

daily capital city paper.

This role would suit an ambitious journalist who

has been working on regional or community papers

and wants to upgrade their CV to include

experience on an award-winning metro newspaper.

The successful applicant will be expected to be

able to work in rounds that require experience and

demand, accuracy, commitment and an ability to

work under pressure. They may be required to work

in rounds as demanding as courts, police or

politics.

The NT News is often described as the world’s best

newspaper … by the Editor and his mum.

The position involves a 38-hour week on a seven

day roster. Salary negotiable.
