The Howard Music Library is located in the Learning Resources Center.

Here is your view from the back door of the Wright Music Building:

Here is a closer look at Todd Hall:

When you get to the Todd building, turn left. Here is what you’ll see:

The Keathley University Center is on your right (behind the tree):

This street sign is on your left:

You have arrived at the back of the LRC:

Go around to the front of the LRC

From the front of the LRC you can see the Walker Library. Remember this. You’ll need to go here.

The Music Library is located inside the Instructional Media Resources Center

What? Definitive editions as close to the composer’s

original as possible Why?

To consult a source that hasn’t been overly edited. Where?

M3s are located on the back shelves of the Music Library

How? They do not circulate, but are available for in-house

study.

Items in the Music Library are classified using the Library of Congress Classification system (LC). M: Any scores ML: Books about music, including Reference,

Biography MT: Teaching books, such as Music Theory or

études.

Items at the Walker library are catalogued using Dewey Decimal Classification

700: The Arts 780: Music For Example:
