How it WorksTherearetwoconceptstheHelmMaster™usershouldcometounderstand.ThefirstistheCentralAxisConcept.ThatmeansHelmMaster™makestheoperatorthecentralpivotpointaroundwhichtheboatmoves.ThesecondconceptistheRingofMotionConcept.Thatmeansthemoretheoperatormovesthejoystick,thegreaterthethrustandspeedinthatdirection.

How to Use itTheforwardportionofthejoystickrepresentsthebow.Theoperatorshouldmoveandholdthejoystickwithoutreturningtothecenterposition(neutral)untilarrivingatthedesiredposition.Iftheoperatortwiststhejoystick,theboatwillrotate.Forbestresults,theoperatorshouldnot‘bump’thejoystickastheymightwithaconventionalthrottle.

EngagingtheHelmMaster™joystickdisengagesthesteeringwheelandtransfersallsteeringandthrottlecontroltothejoystick.Operatingthethrottlesdisengagesthejoystickandreturnsoperationtotheremotecontrolboxandthesteeringwheel.
