Do this as accurately and completely as possible.

The better you can describe the problem, the more quickly you can solve it

• Quantitative - facts that can be measured

• Qualitative - how people feel about situation

• Describe how things will be when the problem is solved and everything is working well.

• Don’t cloud your vision

• Focus on what really matters

• Close gap between current situation
