What is Rhabdomylosis?

Rhabdo is the breaking down of muscle

fibres resulting in the release of muscle

fibres into the bloodstream.

Symptoms of rhabdo include:

• severe generalized muscle pain

• nausea and vomiting,

• abdominal cramping

• dark red “Coca-Cola” urine.

People most at risk are new CrossFitters and people returning to CrossFit after a long break.
