Discussion Questions

When thinking about how to alleviate poverty and mitigateinequality, what should our goals be?

Is inequality morally wrong? Is poverty? Should it matter if it’smorally wrong for our policy decisions?

How should we define poverty? What components are important?Should this definition vary by location (i.e. should developingcountries have a different definition of poverty than developedcountries)?
