Radiacion solar

HFCs of industrial importance have lifetimes in therange 1.4 to 270 yearsSF6 have very large radiative effi ciencies and lifetimes in therange 1,000 to 50,000 years
OH destruye del orden de 3.7 Gt of trace gases, including CH4 and all HFCs and HCFCs, each year
Stratospheric Ozone baja –0.15 W m–2Tropospheric Ozone sube a +0.35 ± 0.15 W m–2

microphysical and hence the radiative properties, amount and lifetime of clouds aerosol particle to act as a cloud condensation nucleusSulphate, fossil fuel organic carbon, fossil fuel black carbon, biomass burning and mineral dust aerosols were all identifi edas having a signifi cant anthropogenic
sulphate aerosol is via SO2 emissions from fossil fuel burning (about 72%), with a small contribution from biomass burning (about 2%), while natural sources arefrom dimethyl sulphide emissions by marine phytoplankton (about 19%) and by SO2 emissions from volcanoes (about 7%).
Organic aerosols from fossil fuel and biofuel burning and natural biogenic emissions.
Black Carbon Aerosol

Biomass Burning Aerosol –0.4 W m–2 from the scattering components (mainly organic carbon and inorganic compounds) and +0.2 W m–2 from theabsorbing components (BC) leading to an estimate of the RF of biomass burning aerosols of –0.20 W m–2
Radiacion solar
www.gphysics.net – UACH-Cambio-Climatico-1-Version 12.08
Nitrate Aerosol –0.03 and –0.05 W m–2
Mineral Dust Aerosol agricultural practices (harvesting, ploughing, overgrazing), changes in surface water (e.g., Caspian andAral Sea, Owens Lake) and industrial practices (e.g., cementproduction, transport) +0.4 to –0.6 W m–2,
cloud albedo effectreduce cloud droplet sizes y increased cloud droplet numberConcentrations –0.22 to –1.85 W m–2.
Cambios en la superficie por uso; –0.4 W m–2 and –0.2 W m–2Carbon sobre hielo: +0.2 W m–2.Emisiones de calor por ciudades 0.03 W m–2
directly reduces the fl ux of moisture from thesurface to the atmosphere through transpiration (Sellers et al.,1996). A decrease in moisture fl ux modifi es the surface energybalance, increasing the ratio of sensible heat fl ux to latent heatfl ux and therefore warming the air near the surface
Increased CO2 concentrations can also ‘fertilize’ plantsby stimulating photosynthesis, which models suggest hascontributed to increased vegetation cover and leaf area
Aircraft produce persistent contrails in the upper tropospherein ice-supersaturated air masses +0.010 W m–2
From 1750 to thepresent there was a net 0.05% increase in total solar irradiance +0.12 W m–2

First, theseforcings can directly affect the Earth’s radiative balance andthus alter surface temperature. Second, they introduce horizontaland vertical heating gradients; these can alter the stratosphericcirculation, in turn affecting the troposphere. Third, the forcingscan interact with internal climate system variability (e.g., ElNiño-Southern Oscillation, North Atlantic Oscillation, Quasi-Biennial Oscillation) and dynamical noise, thereby triggering, amplifying or shifting these modes (see Section 9.2; Yang andSchlesinger, 2001; Stenchikov et al., 2004). Fourth, volcanicaerosols provide surfaces for heterogeneous chemistry affectingglobal stratospheric ozone distributions (Chipperfi eld et al.,2003) and perturbing other trace gases for a considerableperiod following an eruption.
