Who does Permissible Exposure Limits

(PELs) Protect?

According to OSHA there are more than 500,000 workers

employed in laboratories in the U.S.

Every employee working in an exposed environment is at

risk of negative health issues if not properly covered. PELs

When should you follow

Permissible Exposure Limits (PELs)?

It is important to always follow OSHA’s PELs and clearly

communicate them with all workers. Having the proper exposure

control device in place ensures your workers well-being and

minimizes legal problems for your facility.

For more information, please visit the OSHA website.
