I’m so grateful to the Pool for giving me a chance to develop as a photographer,

writer, and interviewer. I really value the opportunity I have had to grow and give thought to big issues. In recent days I

feel more certain of my focus: to present the voices of ‘ordinary’ people, to present stories and views which help explain the human story, never really explaining it, of

course.
