How do I check if the Certificate is valid ?

ALL official IECEx Certificates are published on-line and freely available for view & download of an uncontrolled copy @ http://iecex.iec.ch/iecex/exs.nsf/ex_eq.xsp?v=e

If the paper Certificate you have been given or Certificate # quoted to you cannot be found @ http://iecex.iec.ch/iecex/exs.nsf/ex_eq.xsp?v=e the copy or Certificate # that you have been given is NOT VALID and you should not trust it – the products, services or personnel on it are NOT IECEx Certified

How do I check if the Certificate is current ?

IECEx Certificates published on-line have a status of:1. Current2. Suspended3. Cancelled

The paper Certificate you have been given is an uncontrolled document that is not automatically updated .... take care to check today’s status of the Certificate @ http://iecex.iec.ch/iecex/exs.nsf/ex_eq.xsp?v=e

because the paper copy you have may have been Suspended or Cancelled and therefore the products, services or personnel may NOT be IECEx Certified today
