!!!The reason a recreational area is proposed at the selected location is because it is currently an empty plot of land. We should make good use of the spaces provided. The location of the site is very strategic as it is an empty space located at the commercial block right beside the CODA gallery. The empty space featured an uneven plan of concrete and is located beside the CODA gallery. It is an unused plot of space at the beginning of the commercial blocks.

!Concept of propose recreational area.
The proposed recreational area focuses on a few elements
1. Nature
The concept focuses on nature and greenery . The nature concept brings people into a friendly, natural environment, a place where people are presented to and placed in a natural atmosphere of strategically placed elements of wood and plants. Much thought has gone into the planning of both the hardscape and softscape of the proposed area, integrating as much natural elements as possible while simultaneously introducing new, non-interfering yet beneficial artificial ingredients into the mix, resulting in the creation of a natural and non
polluted landscape for relaxation. For most of the people it is a simply brief escapes, moments of peace in an otherwise busy and stressful day.

!!!2. Malaysia garden concept
Our concept of the propose space represents a melting pot of various traditions which blends a collective sense of our history and identity. The design landscapes will reflect our rich multi-racial culture instead of adopting the garden designs of other countries. A Malaysian garden must reflect a tropical theme and ideally demonstrate the harmonious fusion of various cultures. The recreational area’s design is more than just a concept or a garden. It is not about the style of furniture or pergola. It is not just a garden made by wood. It is an outdoor living space. It is the lifestyle that we promote that makes it Malaysian. It is a sanctuary and a place where you can rejuvenate your sense of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste ( the 5 senses ).
!3. Fellowship and unity
The area draws people closer to one another. Featuring a plethora of both close intimate spaces and wide expanses, The area naturally allows people to get together to have a close, meaningful fellowship with each other. Whether it is having a work-related discussion, a stress-relieving retreat. The area brings everyone closer together. The unity of both natural and built elements creates a soft wonderful space, where both natural and built structures com-plement each other excellently.
Rough idea The recreational area aims to create an intimate environment for people to have very close fellowship with war other in a natural environment.

Street furniture refers to the objects and facilities located in urban public spaces that pro-vide various services and functions to the public. It is one of the essential elements of the urban environment. That is why we have chosen to place some street furniture at the emp-ty space.

!Perspective view of the proposed site with hardscape and softscape. There are endless benefits in landscaping. Landscaping can make dull and solid areas pleas-ing to the eyes. It is responsible for making ordinary spaces into spectacular ones and most importantly unused space into pleasing livable spaces where people can enjoy and interact with each other.
