A thousand melodies the birds tweet
I feel the warmth of the sun’s heat
The silky green leaves at my fingertips
The cool summer breeze crossing my lips
Vibrant flowers invade the grass
The scent of pollen as I pass
The sudden wind makes a mess of my hair
But somehow I don’t seem to care
I see growing seeds at a glance
It’s funny how they seem to enhance
I sit and daydream about the sky
I imagine myself about to fly
Then came in the neighbours pet
My garden, I will never forget
