Estuary Grant Boundaries:For purposes of protecting tributaries and uplandhabitat, the area eligible for estuary grants includesthe counties within New York State bordering theHudson River from the Verrazano Narrows bridge tothe Troy dam and tributaries including the East Riverto Hell Gate, the Harlem River and Kill Van Kull. Aboundary of approximately 4,600 feet has beenestablished as a general guideline for projects inRichmond, Kings and Queens counties.
