• Hudson’s Bay poor drainage has resulted in the largest continuous wetlands in the world.

• The average summer temperatures are 11 C

• The average winter temperatures are -18 C

• Precipitation ranges from 400mm to 800mm

Geology and Geography

• The land here is flat, and the poor drainage is the main result of wetlands and bogs.

Plants

• The drainage here is poor, so trees are only found at the drier high altitudes, while the lower altitudes lack trees.
