Lighting

• CFLs = Compact Fluorescent Lights

• Replace T12 lighting with high-performance T8 or T5 lamps or re-lamp and re-ballast

• LED exit signs

• High-bay lighting replacements

• Exterior lighting

• Permanent lamp/fixture removal

• ActOnEnergy – Online Store

Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFLs)

• CFLs use approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the electricity used by incandescent bulbs

• Online Store provides CFLs at

approx. half the cost

• Technical points: • High temperature rated • Dimmable • Light quality

High Bay Fixtures

Before After

Occupancy Sensors

• Great when used with fluorescent fixtures at businesses

• Optional delays of 30 seconds to 30 minutes

• 20% to 40% energy savings

• Save up to $10 to $20 per sensor per year

LED Lighting

• Use 75% less energy than incandescent

• Last up to 25 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs

• Incentives of $10/lamp or $25/refrigerated case door

HVAC • Replacement (e.g. high efficiency chiller to replace standard efficiency

chiller or ductless split system to replace window AC units)

• Tune-up

• Steam trap repair or replacement

• Load control switch (demand reduction)

• Boiler combustion controls (linkage-less vs. mechanical)

HVAC

• Boiler economizer

• Hot water loop outdoor air controls

• High efficiency pumps

• Variable frequency drives

• Proper sizing of motors

ActOnEnergy Cash Incentives for Gas Furnaces

Cash incentives available for gas furnace replacement with qualified furnaces include:

• 90% AFUE = $200.00 – $400.00 incentive

• 92% AFUE = $300.00 - $600.00 incentive

• 94% AFUE = $400.00 - $800.00 incentive

Use the HVAC Application to apply for these cash incentives.

Eligible equipment must be listed on following AHRI website

ActOnEnergy Cash Incentives for Tune-ups Cash incentives are available for tune-ups of AC units, gas furnaces and boilers.

Cash incentives of up to 50% of the tune-up cost, excluding replacement parts.

Use the HVAC Application to apply for these cash incentives.

• Air conditioner: $25 per ton cooling

• Air-cooled chiller: $8 per ton

• Water-cooled chiller: $4 per ton

• Gas boiler: $0.25 per kBtuh input

• Gas forced-air furnace: $0.25 per kBtuh input

When was the last time your business’s furnace or boiler was tuned-up?

A. 1 - 6 months ago B. 7 -12 months ago C. More than 12 months ago D. Can’t recall
