character. If you characterize that you truly are an investment worth to keep then it shouldn’t be hard

to absorb the rest.

Accept the fact that pitching your business idea is an ongoing process. The business world is the most inconsistent world. Everything changes from techniques, demand, customer behavior and trends. Your niche might be in demand today, but

tomorrow it will change. Pitching your business is a lifetime and ongoing process.

Practice your pitch. To raise your capital, you must also practice

your pitch. If you are not good at it, then find someone to work with you on pitching your business.

Start with a newsletter. A newsletter might be an

understated mean, but if you are still starting with your

business it would be very good to build rapport with your

potential investors.

Find a startup group. Startup groups can help you accelerate your growth. Find a startup group in your area. Join

their activities and events. There are also groups that can associate you with companies to help you with your

business.

Be consistent and share only what is appropriate. Be

consistent about your products and your quality. Share only what you

think is beneficial for your company. Never reveal everything.

Have a financial advisory board. If you want to secure your investment and at the same time raise your capital you will need people to help you raise money

and secure your investment.

Participate in capital events. Aside from improving your skills, by attending capital events you can also pitch your business to potential investors face to face.

Never cold call an investor. If you value your worth, please don’t cold call an investor. This could lead to a

bad reputation.
