Preparation• • Cut out the number trail

• • Hide these randomly around the house.

• • Give each child a number trail answer sheet.

How to play• • Choose any number trail card to start.

• • The bottom half of the card has a question on it.

• • Work out the answer and record it in the first box of the number trail answer sheet. The example question here is 8 x 4, and the answer (32) is recorded on the answer sheet.

• • Find the number trail card with the answer 32 in the circle.

• • This card has a new question which will lead to another answer.

• • The game is finished when all 20 boxes are complete on the trail answer sheet.
