How to Embed BBC iPlayer on Wordpress

Grab the PID code from BBC iPlayer Step2. Get the html code to embed on Wordpress Step3. Place the code on Wordpress and preview the post Step4. Verify and Share !

Steps (summary)

Step1. Grab the PID code from BBC iPlayer

Go to theBBC iPlayer video/radio page you want to embed.

Example :http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00wldvy/All_in_the_Mind_Adoption_and_Social_Networking/

Grab (copy) the PID code in the page’s URL:

Step2. Get the html code to embed on Wordpress

Go to : http://upyourego.com/pip/

Paste the PID code copied in Step1.Example: b00wldvy

Resize accordingly to your blog. For Carve’s wordpress : 520 * 321

Click [Get Code]

Copy the entire html code.

Step3. Place the code on Wordpress and preview the post

Create a new post in Wordpress

. Check that you are in html mode

[Preview] the Post

Edit and [Publish]

Write your post (title, text, tags) and paste the code where you want

the player to appear

Step4. Verify and Share !- Check once again that the

spelling is ok and that the video/radio excerpt works.
