How to Design Vinyl Banners for Your Spa
•For your spa to be successful, you have to advertise it in the right way. Word-of-mouth is great for spas, but it’s beyond your control.
•You can control your signage, and vinyl banners are a great signage option for spas.
•Here’s a guide to help with the spa banner design process:
•Decide where you want to use a banner and measure that area.
•Banners hung outside your spa will be viewed from a distance, so they should be at least 3’x6’.
•Banners used inside your spa can be smaller (~2’x4’).
Banner Size
•Feature important messages like grand openings and special promotions as large as possible, along with your spa’s name and contact information.
•Your message should be exciting and encourage the customer to book an appointment.
•Too much information will keep your banner from being effective, so edit when necessary.
Message
•Banner fonts should be large and bold—you’ll be tempted to use upscale script fonts, but don’t, because they’re hard-to-read.
•Your color scheme should reflect the experience you provide—calm, tranquil, sumptuous, etc.
•Bright colors are great for sales, but use more subdued colors if this is more consistent with your brand.
Visuals
•If you’re hanging your banner above your storefront, select special “outdoor finishing”(the banner is printed on a thicker vinyl material and the edges are reinforced to prevent wind damage).
•For indoor spa banners, use retractable banner stands to get your message in front of your clients.
