How Do You Save Your PubMed Search Results into

an EndNote Library ?

Sample search for articles on Cyclin D and published in the journal “Cell”.

This search yields 29 citations

1. Click on the ”Send to” pull down.

2. Choose “File” as your destination.

3. Select “Medline” as your Format.

4. Hit the “Create File” button. This should download a file to your computer.

On my machine it is automatically named “pubmed_result.txt”

5. You should have a text file on your local computer that looks like this

the File menu
