Honor Holly 3 Company's First 'Made in India' Smartphone Launched For Rs 9,999

Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm, at one of its latest launching event, has introduced a first-ever ‘Made In India’ smartphone, Honor Holly 3 along with two other smartphones – Honor 8 and Honor 8 Smart.

Honor Holly 3 sports a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 650 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The device houses 2GB RAM and has 16GB onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. Talking about the camera, the Honor Holly 3 features a 13-megapixel BSI CMOS rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies.

It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 on top. The phone packs in a 3,100mAh battery for longer battery backup. The device is also bundled with sensors like accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, and G-sensor.

In terms of connectivity, the Honor Holly 3 includes 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth v4.0. The device also features BOX integrated sound chamber and bottom speaker. The smartphone is available in three colors – Black, White, and Gold.

It will available for purchase at Rs 9,999. Apart from the Honor Holly 3, the company also launched its flagship device, Honor 8. It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display with dual rear camera setup. Honor 8 is priced at Rs 29,999.
