INTRODUCTION :Now a day's every one prefers automated

control systems because of its Less Manual Operations More Accurate

Previous Technologies For Controlling Home Appliances :

History of the GSM Technology Mobile cellular systems introduced for commercial use

in the 1980s.In the beginnings of cellular systems, each country

developed its own system, and so    - The equipment was limited to operate only within the

boundaries of each country. - The market was also limited. To overcome these limitations, the Global System for

Mobile communications (GSM) became in 1982.

GSM Technology

GSM stands for Global System for Mobile communications Introduced in 1982 International roaming. Low mobile and base stations costs. High-quality speech

POWER SUPPLY

For supplying 5v DC power supply, we use the below circuit

Provides compatibility among various different equipments Introduced by Electronic Industries Association (EIA).

MAX 232

RS 232In RS232, A logic 1 is represented by -3 to -25V, While a 0 bit is +3 to +25V, Making -3 to +3 undefined. For this reason, to connect any RS232 to a

microcontroller system we must use voltage converters such as MAX232 to convert the TTL logic levels to the RS232 voltage levels, and vice versa

ADVANTAGES :

Highly sensitive. Taking measures to reduce the electricity bill. Large coverage ON/OFF from any distance. Can handle heavy loads up to 7A.

 APPLICATIONS:

Home appliance control. Hotel lights / fans control. Shops and showrooms. Industrial applications. Electronic applications for security.

FUTURE SCOPE

This project can be further enhanced by placing sensors and providing feedback to user.

If any unauthorized person tries to enter into home, sensor will activate and GSM modem will pass this information to the owner of the house.
