Hi hi!My work

Welcome to my portfolioI’m a UX Designer with 10+ years experience building and creating products. I’ve done ecommerce work for Sprint, FedEx, US Bank, Ikea, Kayak, Shaklee, Sears, EA Games, and many more.

My process includes research, team collaboration, creating personas, small user-group research, quick prototyping, live user-testing, A/B testing, revise, repeat.

Ecommerce, B2B, B2C, Web

Senior UX Designer at Shaklee. During my time there I took their current online shopping experience and simplified it to deal with multiple item categories / user types. This took extensive user testing, ranging from users who were only a few weeks old at using Shaklee products, to users who have been using the products for 30+ years.

Job-Portal, B2C, Web

A HR Management platform. When redesigning the user profile section, I took existing users through a series of paper prototype tests. These paper prototypes were initially generated through user research, brainstorm session ran by me, and reviewing previous data trends.

US Bank and ElanEcommerce, Web

Created a new portal for US Bank’s internal web portal service for Bank Managers, Bank Tellers to order and purchase merchandise for their stores. The goal was to create a product that raised usage of the site, and allowed for easy templating of design so that several 1,000 pages could be added afterwards.

With this process, worked directly with US Bank through the entire process, with group wireframing sessions, small-group user testing of paper-prototypes, and further A/B testing once application was built.

Bright.comJob-Search, Web

First full-time designer hired at Bright.com, as User Experience Lead. While I was at Bright I worked on a full-site redesign from the initial MVP, along with A/B testing multiple user flow designs to help the site grow to over 2 million users. Acquired by LinkedIn.

Bright was a heavy data grab using millions of resumes and user info, which allowed employers and job seekers get better job options directed towards them. Bright.com included job search, job pages, user profiles, employer access

p. 13

For working at Bright, my process included:

- Heavy quick whiteboard wireframing- User interviews - Job seekers + HR Managers

- Small groups of 5-6 at a time to answer specific UX questions and directions

- Paper prototyping- Live prototyping in html/css- A/B testing of different concepts, until we got a our

successful final product- Testing on hundreds of thousands of live users

Strange - Mobile AppMobile

An application made to allow users to have anonymous conversations based on topics. In the vein of Strange / Whisper apps. With Meteor, I was able to quickly prototype the application, and work with existing users to take feedback and implement on a daily basis as needed.

Going through the process of making this web app, I focused on extensive wireframe testing before we moved into any production. This included user testing, user feedback, paper prototyping.

Milo’s KitchenEcommerce, Web

Lead UX Designer on website design for Milo's Kitchen, a product of Del Monte Pet Foods. This was basically a very simple but fun parallax scrolling website with a fixed navigation, along with updating their main web ecommerce assets.

Again, with this design the focus was on wireframing first, then testing those wireframes, then implementing.
