.2% of the 2.5% merit pool was held at the College levelThese funds (~$87K) were used to address exceptional performance, equity and salary compression.• Extra merit/assistance requests from heads and directors for 16 individuals (6
with joint appointments, total: $37k)• An additional $1,000 merit to 18 individuals (14 staff, 4 continuing lecturers)
because a change in salary resulted in an increase in their insurance premiums.• Adjustments in salary for staff who were low in their salary band provided they
had a performance rating of at least 3.0 (meets expectations) and 1+ year of service (total: $21.7k)
• Adjustments for associate deans, heads and directors above 2.3% due to extraordinary circumstances (total: $10.8k)
