Writing your own fable6.4.2
Read several of Aesop’s fables to get a feel for the morals taught.
Now, you are to write a modern day fable – you can leave the moral the same if you want too!
Think about of events such as Hurricane Katrina that deals with environmental concerns through the acts of heroism, or the decline of the Toyota industry for global business themes.
Brainstorm a list of settings in which your fable could take place.
Think about the actions that your characters might take in order to explain/live up to the cultural or societal moral depicted in your fable.
How will your story progress from beginning to end? In other words, what will it take to get your characters from point A to point B?
Remember that there are several graphic organizers for you to use in planning your essay in 8.6 if you would like to use those.
