Winter 2009 Product Enhancements
Thanks to BluWave Signal Processing (SP), LX now fits more
patients than ever before–making the widest fitting range of any
product in its class even wider with the new 50 gain receiver. LX
now delivers up to 50 dB of gain, in addition to unprecedented
feedback cancellation and directional performance. And with
Integrated Real Ear Measurement now available in most
technology levels, you can feel confident you’re getting your
patients off to the best start possible.
The Virtue family of hearing devices continues to evolve. Our
proprietary Integrated Real Ear Measurement (IREM) system
is now available on most Virtue hearing devices, letting you fit
patients right from the start. IREM helps you ensure superior
initial fits and better sound quality. It’s the start of a positive
patient experience that BluWave SP continues to deliver on
with unprecedented feedback cancellation and seamless
environmental adaptation.

Measurement Conditions and Recommendations
The data for LX are obtained and performance is expressed according to ANSI S3.22 (2003), IEC 60118-7 (2005) and IEC 60118-0 (1983) with Amendment 1 (1994-01). The Audibel proprietary Real Time Analyzer and the Audibel Automated Design Verification Test System (SADVTS) comprise the basic test equipment. Data may be subject to change with product refinement.
Because of the adaptive signal processing capabilities of LX hearing instruments, the hearing instrument must be set to test mode to compare the actual performance of the hearing instrument with these specifications. LX hearing instruments may be set to test mode with Inspire OS by reading the hearing aid and selecting the “Hearing Aid Test” screen from the menu on the left side of the Inspire OS window, then selecting the “Full On Gain” button.
RF IMMUNITY LEVEL: These hearing instruments have a cell phone immunity rating of M4. For your cell phone to be compatible with these hearing instruments, the cell phone needs an immunity rating of M1 or higher. Please consult your cell phone specifications for your cell phone immunity rating.
