Personal Assistant ManagerPresented by: Margo Hamm KY Regional Coordinator

What is PAM?Personal Assistant Manager (PAM), is an

innovative tool designed to reduce the chapter advisor’s workload. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, PAM provides advisors with a comprehensive, at-a-glance view of chapter activity to assist them with their chapter administrative tasks.

Pam’s DashboardPAM’s comprehensive

dashboard Makes it possible for

advisors to check the status of their chapter by condensing data to one page,

Allows advisors to update member and chapter officer contact data,

And gives advisors access to outstanding invoices providing stronger control and management of chapter finances.

Online AcceptancePAM also enables eligible students to

complete applications and pay membership fees online utilizing a PAM-generated link and passcode included in their letter of invitation. Headquarters distributes the fees to the regions and chapters freeing advisors to spend their time providing leadership and guidance rather than collecting fees.

Enrollment and ReportingReporting new members in PAM begins with

identifying potential new members or eligible students and following the process through Orientation, reporting new members to Headquarters and conducting the formal induction ceremony.

eligibility requirements for membership in your chapter. Request comma delimited file from Registrar of students that meet the requirements for membership, these are your Eligible Students for the current term (semester) or your Enrollment Period.

Step 3 - Load Eligible Students – load the registrar’s file of eligible students. If in Excel format open in Excel and save as csv format.

Step 4 - Print and Mail Invitation Letters - Under Manage Eligible Students menu - Invitation Letter Inserts and Mailing Labels https://www.ptk.org/Enrollment/invitation_wait.go?page=invitation_list.go

Step 5 - Manage Eligible Students –  Mark students as paid and application complete if not allowing online acceptance and then submitting those paid to headquarters. Edit can be done under menu - Manage Eligible Students - Search Eligible Students.
