The Agreement

• Must apply:

• Should partner with local historical societies or museums

• Should have firm goals for the project

• Should have significance to Pennsylvania or major significance to the community

• Scanned material must be made accessible to all Pennsylvanians

• Internet Archive

• AccessPA Digital Repository

• Some other Internet accessible digital repository

• Library is responsible for transportation of ScribeStation, including all fees

Conditions of Loan

• Assumption of care

• Installation

• Environment

• Security

• Repack as received

• Record condition & return in condition received

• Metadata must be created in such a way as to be DPLA ingestible

• Materials will be eventually harvested by PDCP

What do you need?

• 3 people – 1 to read directions, 2 to assemble

• 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours

• Space

• 27 – 30” of height

• 78” of length

• 27 ½ - 30“ of depth

• No bars or supports under table

• Non-rolling chair

• No direct overhead light or sunlight

• Wireless or LAN connection (wired preferred)

• Two electrical outlets
