BRAVO! CHILDREN OF IACS LANGUAGE PERFORM AT BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Congratulations! To the children in the IACS language program, who sang Christmas carols in Italian at Santa’s Breakfast.
The children performed in front of over 250 people under the direction of their language instructors, Maria Sugamelli, Language Director, and Gina Colella. Many, Many Thanks!
Learn more about the IACS education program at www.iacsonline.com.
Didn’t we have fun at Santa’s Breakfast at the Italian American Cultural Center? More than that, I was so happy to see that all the boys and girls at Breakfast with Santa were on my Nice List! And I enjoyed so very much listening to the beautiful Christmas carols
sung by the children taking Italian language at the Italian American Cultural Center.
I get so excited when it is time for Christmas tree decorating, hot chocolate, and eating Christmas cookies! It was a great year at the North Pole! In fact, there were so many good boys and girls on the Nice List that the elves and I had to work extra hard to get all the presents made. Lucky for us, Mrs. Claus brings us homemade Christmas cookies and yummy hot chocolate all day long.
You keep on being good…And I will see you again next December for Breakfast with Santa at the Italian American Cultural Center.
Your Friend,
Santa Claus
A very special thank you to Il Fornaio Bakery for sponsoring Breakfast with Santa and Jim Calderone for you- know- why.
Merry Santa Claus Spread the Cheer At the Italian American Cultural Center

If you visited the IACS during the month of December, I am sure that you noticed the gorgeous Christmas decorations adorning the lobby and banquet halls. The lovely twelve foot Christmas tree was donated by Teresa Trovato Matthews, proprietor of the Dairy Queen at 25 Mile and Shelby Road in Shelby
Township. IACS members Tony and Mary Marino graciously donated the beautifulpresepiofigures.
We are grateful to the staff and members who participated in the decoration effort. The lobby tree was assembled by IACS banquet employee Anthony

Anno nuovo vita nuova?
in casa vostra.

E li terrò in ordine”.

In quello
Successivamente la sua figura fumeno centrale peril cinema italiano. Tuttavia ebbe l’intelligenza di spaziare dal cinema d’autore, ricordiamo «Al di là del bene e del male» di Liliana Cavani del 1978, a quello nazional-popolare come «Sapore di mare» dei Vanzina del 1983. Paradossalmente infatti, dopo i 40 anni, il giudizio della critica su di lei mutò e da attrice «solo bella» si inizio a comprendere che era dotata anche di grande talento. A partire dalla metà degli anni ‘80 Virna Lisi infatti si rilancia grazie ad alcune significativeprove offerte in sceneggiati televisivi («Se un giorno busserai alla mia porta»; «E non se ne vogliono andare»;
