Purposes of HBL• Supplements traditional teaching platforms with online

learning via our

Student Learning Space (SLS).

• In the event of an unscheduled school closure—

➢minimize loss of curriculum time;

➢keep students gainfully occupied at home.

NOTE: HBL Days are NOT

holidays!

• The completion of HBL online is compulsory for all

students.

• Submission will be monitored by subject teachers.

• Incomplete HBL assignments = Play truant

– Feeling unwell thus cannot proceed with HBL =

Submit M.C.

Date & Time of HBL

• HBL dates: 30 May (Thursday, PTM Day)

– For ALL students;

– But not all subjects;

• Only compulsory subjects for all students are involved.

• Time: 0755h-1230h

for Education”.

5. Look for the email sent by Mr. Chong Wai Jiunn, HBL

Coordinator, *titled “Class invitation: <Name of Class>”.

6. In the email, click “JOIN”.

When asking questions or

starting a discussion, specify

which subject matter you are

asking about, and greet your

subject teacher properly!

• Take note:

– The user interface is quite similar to Facebook’s posting and

commenting.

– Please login to LMS > Tools > Gmail and join your class by 30

May.

• You need to log out of your own Gmail account before log in to LMS

Gmail in order to avoid conflict which may not allow you to access Google

Classroom;

– If you are still unable to access, do look for:

• Mr. Chong Wai Jiunn, HBL Coordinator; OR

• Mr. Soo, HOD ICT

• “Soft-lock” if student has tried to key in an (incorrect) password for more

than 7 times: Account is not locked yet, subject teacher can still

help reset.

• SMS HOD ICT via 8505 4082 in this format:

for account-unlock>– Only SMS is accepted.
