Gus Franklin 1894-1942
World War I
Gus Franklin served in the 305th Labor Service Battalion of the US
Army during World War I. Franklin was born and raised in Lawtey,
Florida. Franklin died in 1942 and is buried in the Saint Augustine
National Cemetery.
