Chapter Web Sites Options for Chapter Web Sites
AUSA’s web publishing system (Plone) – Even those chapters who do not have access to graphic designers and technical wizards, can still create a web presence for their chapter. To set up a new account: Contact Michael Coleman at mcoleman@ausa.org For help with existing account maintenance: Contact Jeanna Ray jray@ausa.org or 703-907-2668
AUSA’s hosting service - AUSA offers hosting for relatively small, html/java script based, chapter developed and maintained websites. A user profile and password are provided to the designated chapter 'webmaster' for upload and maintenance of the site via ftp. The scope of the current program permits approximately 25MB of storage space per chapter and does not include web development services, dedicated IP addresses, traffic reporting/analysis or support for proprietary features.
To set up a new account or help with existing account maintenance: Contact Michael Coleman at mcoleman@ausa.org
Outside hosting and publishing – The designated chapter webmaster can shop around for hosting packages that suit the chapter’s needs. Once the web site is built contact AUSA with your web site URL so that a link to your site will be added to the chapter web site directory on ausa.org and you will be eligible for awards and recognition.
To have URL added to the chapter web site directory: Contact Jeanna Ray jray@ausa.org or 703-907-2668
