Connecting Truss
When connecting truss it is always important to follow the manufactures guide lines, recommended spanning distances and to ensure that the webbing is always in the correct orientation (see below
illustration).

Correct Rigging MethodsThere are a number of various ways to sling truss in a correct manor, however it always important to remember
these few things:
1. Where possible use 2 slings per connection point 2. Where possible user the lower cords of the truss as the connection point 3. Always slings in a compression configuration rather then a tension configuration 4. Where possible it is good practice to rig in the ‘Node’ point

• All rigging of truss should be done by licensed persons
• Pre & post ‘use’ inspection(s) should be carried out to maintain the safe working condition
• You must never exceed the systems W.L.L for operations - Including any dynamic loadings that may applied.
• Where possible you should sling on a ‘Node’ point
• Deformed truss is not safe truss
