Republic Day Celebration:

WE ARE INDIANS FIRSTLY AND LASTLY.

------ B. R Ambedkar India’s 70th Republic Day was celebrated with great reverence in the school. A

special Assembly was organised to mark the significance of the day. Group song

and group dance activities were specially choreographed for the occasion and

Inter House Group Dance Competition was also held to add a cultural touch to the

function and to remind all of us the rich cultural legacy that we have inherited

and cherish.

‘If you are brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new

------ Paulo Coelho Students of class XI bid farewell to their seniors with great enthusiasm and

exuberance. The function commenced with the traditional ‘Tilak’ ceremony.

Welcome speech by Kunal made the outgoing students feel special. Group dance

and group song performances by juniors were thoughtfully conceptualised to

mark the emotional significance of the day. Ramp Walk wasthe highlight of the

event.

Class XII students thoroughly enjoyed the Musical Chair and other activities

planned for the day in honour of them.

However, the most awaited moment of the event was the ‘Reading of Citations’

written aptly according to the character trait of each student of class XII and left

everyone guessing thereby creating an environment of fun and laughter.

Students were awarded specific titles on the basis of their performance in ramp

walk and general questions and answers round.

The grand function culminated with a group photograph, motivating and

encouraging words from the Director Admin. followed by a sumptuous meal.

The fun filled day turned emotional towards its end.

Summing up the day was great, filled with nostalgia, fun and excitement.

Basant Panchami Celebration:

Basant Panchami is an occasion to worship Goddess Saraswati , the Goddess of

knowledge and wisdom.

Auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami was celebrated on 9 February 2019 with

great religious ardour.

Various activities were planned for the day and students participated in the

events with great zeal and enraptured everyone with their splendid

performances.

Examinations evaluate students’ skills and enable them to overcome their nerves.

Annual Examination 2018-19 was conducted between 1 March to 18 March 2019

and the result was declared on 27 March 2019.
