The IU is dropping their email service...

Why are we getting new email?

and....

We are out of the spam line of fire since we are no longer using k12.pa.us

email addresses.

What’s different?

These are google accounts, AKA gmail.

Important:

This replaces mail applications like Outlook Express, Entourage, and Apple Mail Stamp.

This works in much the same way the online IU

email did.

A benefit:

We now have access to all of google’s applications for

educators.

Courses on Google’sApplications for

educators will be offered starting in the

fall.

They are set up like this:

lastname.firstname@waynehighlands.org

Password = PPID or employee number

Step 1

Point your internet browser to http://www.waynehighlands.org.

Step 2

Click on the EMAIL link.

Step 3: Set up your account.

Step 4

Click Email to begin.
