• GIS clients, VisualSIG and ArcGIS 10, are used to explore the system ad-hoc
• GIS clients are used to capture gison3dmap projection commands for later use with the other clients
• The Powerpoint client shows slides on a multimedia display and sends projection commands, either automatically or user controlled
• gison3dmap projection commands are captured into commands text files using the GIS clients

There is no limit to the number of projectors that can be used with gison3dmap
Clients submit drawing requests to the system
Controller dispatches and synchronizes client requests
Calibrator is used to configure and calibrate the system
Displays control the graphic outputs used by the system for 3D map projection (P) or multimedia (M)
Controller and Display Windows
The Controller window echoes configuration, licensing and client requests
The Display window has a tab for each Display output and echoes display configuration and drawing errors
CalibrationMap Windows are used to define how the 3D map surface will be divided among video projectors
Calibration points are used to match projector coordinates (targets) with terrain coordinates (calibration points), and obtain a 3D projection solution (pose)
The number of video projectors needed will depend on 3D map size, projector resolution and aspect ratio, and required projected pixel size
