Now that your new website has been setup, its time to start adding your content and customise it to suit your business needs. We have put together this document to help guide you through the necessary steps to launch your new website.
The website is built in a way which will help showcase your coaching business with a wow factor, help your customers navigate your services effortlessly and get to the information they want quickly.
This document is editable and you can check each item as your go to keep track of your progress.

Setup3 key steps before you begin
Open Wordpress training video
Our team has produced a wordpress training series video to help guide you
through how to make edits to your website. Ope up the training series videos so
you can use it whilst navigating through this checklist.

Setup your pages & perma links
To display your key services, you need to setup pages to display this information.
Your website is setup with template pages for you to use. Publish the amount
of pages you need & change the page names & perma links to then setup your
navigation menus - CLICK HERE
Edit your navigation menu’s & sub menus
The navigation menus & sub-menus allow your customers to navigate your
website & get to the content they need quickly. Head over to Appeaance in the
side bar in your conent management system and select menus. Here you can
re-name and drag and drop the menu items.

Add your homepage layer sliders
Your home page layer sliders should shout about your key services & entice your
customers to navigate to this information as quickly as possible. View the folder

Home page contentIts time to setup your home page
Add your key services or products
The first section on your home page below your layer sliders is for addiing your
key coaching services or products.. We recommend that these are your general
services rather than specific services as you can display this information within
a specific page. Make sure you add a feature image, a hover image and a short

Add your key services modal information
Below your short description, you will see a ‘Read more’ link. You can add
further information within a modal. Using modals is a great way of limiting
text information on your pages and giving customers the choice to read more
information. You can edit the read more modal information within the specific

Add your coaching team
Your home page allows you to showcase you or your coaching team with a bio
image and a read more drop down. You can display further information including
an image, contact information and a biography. View the tutorial on how to do

Edit your facility descriptions
Your home page features a map tailored by our team specific to your coaching
venue. This will help your customers navigate the facilities you offer & find out
more information about these. Add your descriptions and the information to
include in the facility specific modals. View the tutorial on how to do this by -

Add your FAQ’s
Your home page allows you to showcase common questions that customers
may have about you and your coaching services. You can display the most
important or generic ones on your home page. View the tutorial on how to do

Add your testimonials
Your home page allows you to showcase the great things your customers say
about you by using the testimonials section. You can display the best ones on

Edit your linksYou have the ability to link your products or services to specific pages through
call to action buttons, for example to your booking system, store or a contact
us page. Make sure you link these call to actions to the correct pages as you
go through and edit your content - View the tutorial on how to do this by -

Adding a hover image is a great way of elevating the look and feel of your website. You can use our Feature Image Bank available within the Training & Support Package to add a featured image when setting up your lesson types.

Page specific contentAdd your content to your product specific pages...
Add your page specific layer sliders
You now need to add your page specific layer sliders. You can use layer sliders
from other pages or create sliders for each page. We recommend having one
slider for each specfic page & rotating them regularly.
Add your page specific services or products
You can now add the products or services that are specific for each page. This is
the same process as you went through to add home page products but now you
need to select the appropriate category from the lesson type category page. View

Add your key services modal information
Simlar to your home page setup, make sure you add your read more information
relating to each of your specific lesson products or services. Within this modal
you may want to dsiplay specifc prices or features of the service your are
promoting.
Display relevant coaches
If you are a single coach, then you will want your bio information on every page,
however, if you are displaying multiple coaches on your website, you may only
want to display certain coaches on certain pages. View the tutorial on how to

Add your page specific FAQ’s
You can setup and show specific questions your customers may have relating
to the page they are viewing and this is a useful way of improving the customer
experience and improve effeciency.
Add your testimonials
You can also setup and show testimonials from customers relating to specific
pages. This is a useful way of conveying success stories about specific coaching
products or services.
Edit your links
Make sure any links you have on your page are linked to the spefic product or
pages that you are trying to send your customers to. You may be linking these to
a booking system, store or your contact us page.
Use the drop down templates
Within your pages, you are able to use the drop down templates which enables
you to showcase more information about a facility, programme or tell your
customers a little bit about why these services will benefit them. View a tutorial

You can easily setup engaging layer sliders to appear on specific pages or multiple pages across your website to really give your website the wow factor. Check out the layer slider tutorials in the Training & Support Package.

Contact us pageEnsure your customers can reach you with ease...
Setup your subject fields
Your contact us page is built with a contact form for your customers to make
contact with you. You can set up subject fields so customers can indicate what
their enquiry relates too. View the tutorial on how to set up subject fields by

Editing your autoresponder
You now need setup your autoresponder message. This will add a nice personal
touch to your website and enahnce the user experience. By setting up an
autoresponder, you customers will receive an automated email acknowledging
that their enquiry has been received. View the turoial on how to do this

Editing your contact form messages
When customers are completing your contact form, they may make mistakes
or encounter problems, and it is worth the effort to setup messages which will
prompt the customer and help guide them through this process. View the tutorial

Edit your contact information
On your contact us page, you can display your most up to date contact
information which you should and legally need to supply so your customers can

Our team will setup some of the information on this page, including the contact information in the red scrolling bar and your location map. However, you can learn how to edit these by reviewing the video tutorials in the Training and Support Package or our You Tube Playlist

Adding icons to the top corner of your read more modals are a great extra touch to enhance the user experience. You can download the Bank of Iconography from the Training & Support Package.

LegalThe boring, but necessary bits...
Add your Terms & Conditions
Add the terms and conditions relating to the use of your site and your products
and services. You have a specifc page for this so all you need to do is create your
content and publish.
Add your Privacy Policy
Setup your privacy policy to communicate to your customers how you will use
their data when enaging with your website or your products and services.
Add your Cookie Policy
Setup your cookie policy so you can inform customers how your website
collects and handles cookies. Your website features an intergrated Cookie
Warning feature which will be setup by our team.
Ensure you have consent
Whilst it is tempting to grab content from rival websites or imagery from search
engines such as Google, it is essential that any imagery or content you add to
your website is done so with consent. Our tip, write all of the conttent yourself
so its authentic to you and invest in some great imagery to really elevate your
website.
Investing in great imagery really will stand your website out from others, help your website be engaging to your customers & and elevate your coaching brand. Speak to our team about how we can help maintain your site and assist with imagery.

Pre-LaunchYou’re nearly there, just a few final checks...
Test your web forms
Before launch, it is important to test your contact forms and mailing list sign ups.
Visit your website like a customer would and test these areas.
Preview site in browsers
Customers use a range of broswers, and even though our team will have tested
this, after addng your imagery and content it is important to see how your
website displays and functions on a range of borwsers. We recommend you
check your site on Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer & Edge.
Check links
Go through your site and check that all of your links go to the correct pages.
Misdirections create frustration for your customers experience and may prevent
them returning in the future.
Check copy
Get a friend or family members to reveiw your site, specifically checking for
obvious spelling and grammar errors that may effect your messaging and user
experience.
Check mobile reponsive design
Your customers will want to engage with your website on the go, and many will
do this through a mobile device. Therefore, checking the dsiplay and functionality
of your website on mobile will be worthwhile. Use a website like mobiletest.me
to do this.
Check for dummy text & placeholders
When we provided your with your website ready for setup, you will have noticed
placeholders to show you where to add imagery and text content in the form
of lorem ipsum. It is useful to double check your website and ensure that this
doesn’t still appear.
Allocate some maintenance time
Add some maintance time to your schedule each week so you can keep track of
your website & any issues. Consider adding some longer monthly maintenance
time to refresh your content & imagery.

Customise your contact form subject fields to bring thepersonal touch to your website and user experience. You can do this by navigating to ‘Contact forms’ from your admin dashboard.

De-activate maintance mode
Turn off the maintanance mode so that your URL can be accessed by your
customers.
Publish your URL & shout about your new website
It’s time to publish your new website URL across all of your marketing channels and
tell your customers!
You have done it, congratulations!
Now you are up and running, be sure to continue to use the features of our Training & Support Package and the
